SBHS offers the LSU Stem Pathways Introduction to Robotics course as a high school elective, along with a General Robotics course for junior high students. High school participants gain hands-on experience using VEX EXP and VEX V5 systems, while junior high students work with VEX IQ systems.

Students who are enrolled or have completed the Introduction to Robotics course are eligible to join the SBHS Robotics Competition Team.
