Dual Enrollment is a great way for current high school Junior or Senior students to get a jump start on their college careers. As a dual enrollment student, you can complete MSU and/or SOWELA classes on our SBHS campus for both high school and college credit, and graduate high school with a year or more of college already complete.
MSU FALL SEMESTER UPDATE DUE TO COVID 19
MSU has eliminated the requirement of a Composite ACT score. However, the ACT Math score of a 19 and ACT English score of an 18 are still required to ensure students are college ready. If a student hasn’t been able to take the ACT, the ACCUPLACER EXAM is another option for any Junior or Senior student who has requested a DE course for the Fall 2020 semester and does not have the required English and/or Math scores. The ACCUPLACER can be taken at home for a reduced rate of $10 each (formerly $25) on a computer with webcam capabilities. Students must first apply online for DE for the FALL (link below). MSU will then send the student an MSU ID number (needed to register for ACCUPLACER), then register for the ACCUPLACER Next Generation Writing and/or ACCUPLACER QAS (link below for accuplacer information).
