BILLIE STULTZ

Welcome to my online classroom.  Parents and students often ask me how students can best prepare for the coming ACT test and the final two years of high school. I remind students the best preparation for future learning is to read, read, READ! Variety is good. Novels are great, but websites, blogs and magazines are useful as well.  As you read, practice summarizing the content, and ask yourself if you were giving a test on the reading what questions you would ask.  Answer those questions! You can also always go online and work through practice tests.  Be sure that when you miss a question, you go to the passage and figure out why the correct answer is correct.  It takes time, but it is the only way to learn and improve.  As Ms. Hollingsworth says, “the ACT is a marathon, not a sprint!”

Mrs. H has started a wonderful ACT Prep Google Classroom page. Check it out.  It has like a million practice tests.
